Magnetic barrel rest

Reclaimyour safespace.

A compact magnetic stabilizer that snaps to any safe wall in one second — no tools, no drilling, even through felt. It grips the muzzle end of the rifle and holds it upright at any height and any position you choose, so rifles never lean on each other and your zero stays put. Fit more in, reach every one, move them whenever you like.

The case for a rest

The problem was never
your safe. It’s the
rack it came with.

A safe’s factory rest sits high, for full-length rifles, and offers only a handful of fixed slots. Shorter modern rifles can’t reach it and there aren’t enough positions to go around — so they lean on each other, and the optic you spent the most on is the thing that takes the hit.

01 / THE RACK

One size fits none

Safes were built around a rest set high for long hunting rifles and shotguns, with a few fixed slots that ignore most of the width. A short carbine, SBR or PDW can’t even reach that height — so it ends up leaned against the back and sides, resting on the rifle next to it.

02 / THE COST

A lean can cost your zero

A rifle leaned against the next one puts its optic right where it gets knocked. Turrets, mounts and zero stops shift under that contact, and you don’t find out until the first group opens up at the range. A scratched finish is annoying; a lost zero costs the shot.

03 / THE SPACE

You paid for the whole safe

Fixed spacing forces scoped rifles apart just to clear each other, so the slots run out long before the wall does. You bought the capacity — a fixed rack keeps you from using half of it.

Sentinel SBR rests in a foam-lined safe, each cradling a rifle at the muzzle end

Compatibility

One rest.
Your whole
collection.

No sizes to choose, no left or right hand version, nothing to match to a particular rifle. One Sentinel SBR fits all common rifle calibers and barrel lengths — and it was built with SBRs and PDWs especially in mind.

InstallationMagnetic install in 1 sec

One second to mount.
A minute to
re-plan the safe.

Step 01

Pick the height

Hold it against the inside wall wherever that particular rifle wants to sit. No bracket to line up with, no molded slot to work around.

Step 02

Press it on

The magnet takes over the moment it touches steel. 39 kg of hold, through paint, powder coat or a felt liner.

Step 03

Move it whenever

Roll it off by one edge and put it somewhere else. Re-plan the whole safe in a minute, as often as you like, and nothing is left behind.

Questions we actually get

Before you
ask.

Will the magnet affect my optic or my zero?

No. It is a static field with no current and no moving parts, and it sits well below the optic. As a general rule with any strong magnet, keep mechanical compasses, magnetic-stripe cards and implanted medical devices away from it.

Will it mark the inside of my safe?

The mounting face is flat and non-abrasive. What marks paint is grit trapped between a magnet and the wall, so wipe the surface before mounting and lift the rest off by one edge rather than dragging it.

Does it hold through a felt liner?

Yes. The 39 kg figure is the pull force through paint, powder coat and the interior liners most safes ship with. Thick foam or padded panels increase the air gap and reduce hold.

What does the barrel channel take?

The barrel drops into the open-ended channel and the rubber grip holds it. It takes a bare barrel or a muzzle device such as a brake or flash hider. Store firearms without a suppressor fitted — a can should be removed before the rifle goes into the safe.

Does it hold the whole weight of the rifle?

It is a rest, not a rack. The rifle stands on its own and leans back into the channel, so the rest carries the lateral load and keeps the barrel and optic off the wall.

Can I mount them at different heights?

That is the main reason to use them. A molded rack fixes every barrel at one height and one spacing, so every receiver and optic lines up at the same level and the rifles have to be spread out to clear each other. Individual rests let you stagger the heights, which usually means more rifles on the same wall.
